Dr. Barr is a 2009 graduate of Ross University.  After living outside the WNY area for the last 7 years while working on her undergraduate and veterinary degree, Dr. Barr decided she would like to return to the area where she grew up to begin her career as a veterinarian.  Her goal is to become a productive member in the community that helped shape her as a person growing up.  Dr. Barr's interest in pursuing veterinary medicine began while working at the University of Connecticut State Diagnostics Laboratory during undergraduate studies.  It was this job along with classes in her major (Pathobiology), which sparked Dr. Barr's interest in the study of disease process, medicine and anatomy of domestic animals.  She is the type of person that always wants to know how and why a disease causes illness and therefore what direction she should take to prevent or treat it.  Veterinary school was the key to fulfilling her inquisitive nature.

Emily Glick, DVM
Dr. Glick is a 2009 graduate of the University of Illinois.  She was a software designer at Microsoft Corporation in Seattle when she realized that she really did want to be a veterinarian when she grew up.  After moving across the country to study veterinary medicine at the University of Illinois, she decided to join Brighton-Eggert Animal Clinic rather than return to the northwest.  Her interests include neurology, ophthalmology, feline medicine, working canines and canine athletes.  Dr. Glick enjoys an eclectic mix of hobbies that include snowboarding, sport fencing, sewing and comic book art.  She lives in buffalo with her 3 cats.
