Amanda Houtakker

Hello! My name is Amanda and I am a Certified Pet Groomer. I have been with Brighton Eggert for two years now. I attended a Pet Grooming Certification Program through BOCES as well as a Grooming Academy here in Buffalo through a corporate salon I was working for.

I have always had a huge passion for animals and working with them. I grew up on a farm in Wisconsin where the family dog has always been a Shetland sheepdog- along with any other critter I could talk my parents into keeping in the house! I now currently have a German shepherd, Thor, a domestic shorthair kitten named Morty and a long haired Siberian hamster named Baby Groot.

I strive to make every grooming experience as stress-free as possible. I always have, and will continue to, treat every pet as if they were my own. I am a Quality over Quantity Groomer and will always do my best at keeping your pet safe and comfortable, as well as giving the desired look for your pet.

I absolutely love what I do and look forward to seeing my furry friends every day!
